That's really weird. Seriously, weren't we just a bunch of 1st years?

Anyways, I hope you all are having a nice summer. We should all have dinner sometime =)

So....its 4:46AM

Well, yeah the title says it all. Great time for me to pick my first post here, but I'm going to keep this short and sweet. First of all, to explain why I'm up, I just came back from a Vietnamese Stations of the Cross that some LOGgers went to (Kirs, Erwin and Julian to name a couple) and also had some delicious pho at Pho Hua, which I highly recommend. To get a little serious for a bit, I thought it was a great experience. Rarely do people get to experience their religion from a different culture's perspective, but this gave us that chance. It was definitely inspiring. They simulate a burial ceremony for Jesus, even put a statue of Jesus in a tomb on display. One of those "wow" moments, real talk. Also, Father John Francis is a pop star to that community, he sang a solo and was the MC. Great night indeed.

With that out of the way, I just wanted to wish everyone a relaxing and peaceful Spring Break. I'm sure all you guys regulated on finals, no doubt. Have a great Easter and I hope to see you guys soon. Praying for you.

Happy New Year, 2010ers! I hope everyone is having a blessed, wonderful, and restful vacation with family (: I can't believe we're starting a brand new year, and I'm so excited to live out the new paths and experiences it will bring. I know for a fact that I'm looking forward to winter and spring quarters, and of course more 2010 hangout meals! I've missed you all a lot over vacation and can't wait to hear all about what you got to do over our three weeks of cheer :D

I HAVENT BEEN HERE FOR AWHILE…TO BE EXACT WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2007. DANNGGG I KNOW.

So why the sudden urge to divulge the minute details of my mundane and boring life?!?!? (JK MY LIFE ISNT BORING—NO ONE’S IS—LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!) …anywhoo! It’s my voice (or lack thereof) that has induced me to write once again…and it’s probably better for my instrument (aka voice—you know how I sing it to the RAFTAS…jk wayyy jk) instead of talking. UGH but I love to talk.

Hmm so I guess I should update you guys on what’s going on cause I feel like we haven’t caught up in a while:

First and foremost: YEAH YUHH 2010! I KNOW YOU MISS THAT ;)

SO if you saw me after last Thursday I sounded either like a pubescent boy or according to my roomies and sister, MARGE from the simpsons. I guess I just didn’t have a cold!  but I’m getting better! I went to the doctor…and now my bacteria is being cultured in some lab. He thinks I have CROUP…which is apparently prevalent in little kids (which I’m not ?... so majorly confusing) but yeahh it leads to acute laryngitis! I wikipedia-ed it just in case you were interested (which I’m guessing no but whatevs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croup) I LOVE WIKIPEDIA BTW. I know not all of it is legit, but HEY if you don’t have anything to do just HIT RANDOM ARTICLES. You’ll learn some thing! But back to what I was talking about…So yes he’s not sure but lab results should come in muy pronto. Haha ok enough of that. I’m sure that’s more than you’ll ever want to know about the status of my throat.

Anywhoo! This is year is BUSY! BUT SOOOO GOOD BUSY. Minus the academic part…cause lately I feel like I haven’t really dedicated my time to that whatsoever! YEAHH LET’S STUDY! And I think at this point I may have to drop my upper division class despite how thought-provoking it is. UGH IT’S SO good. BUT I have to think about what’s mostly academically (grade/gpa) advantageous. Seriously those upperclassmen are so freakin knowledgeable of the world—that’s what a poli sci major should be. I can’t help but feel a bit intimidated. But I think that’s only partially why I want to drop the class…it’s just 20 units this time is a lot! I thought I could handle it like last year! But I guess it’s better to focus on a few classes and get an AWESOMELY AMAZING GPA. Yeahh yuhh 4.0! JOIN ME ON MY QUEST FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE! STUDYYY GROUPS/PARTAYYTAYYY ANYONE??? Hollaaaaa!

Although we’re not new at this college thing, I still feel like there’s something extra-refreshing/rejuvenating about this year! It’s kinda like those icy-blast commercials---WHOOSHHH a breath of fresh air in YO FACE! I think it’s just freshmen year, everything was so new and foreign that you battle with a lot of doubt. Now being a second year, it’s kinda like ohhh I have a feel for the college thing, now I just have to do my best to seize the abundant opportunities that we are presented on a daily basis! Don’t get me wrong I LOVED freshmen year.

But it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by the plethora of goodness surrounding us! but it’s a GOOD overwhelming! We just got to as the famous, smooth, sultry, and seexxxyy JOHN LEGEND says... “TAKE IT SLOW!”…babayyyy!

Aww I REALLY WANNA SPICE GIRLS. Damn having three finals…but if I drop the class… two finals after the concert doesn’t sound that bad?

ANYWHOO.

OHHH second year. I’m ready for you! Just be CONFIDENT in everything you do. WORK IT! SHAKE WHAT YO MAMA GAVE YAAAA!

Well, I just wanted to say that I'm so glad I started coming back to LOG so I could meet and chill with you ridculously good-looking people like yourselves. Really, I'm so glad to have met all of you and that this is going to be the beignning of such beautiful friendships.
